"Old Dubai"

For the past 6 months I've been living in Dubai. Is it exciting? yes. Is it crazy? Absolutely! But, do you know that you can discover a lot? I mean a lot, like A LOT! It's not only Burj Khalifa, Burj Al Arab or malls. Those post will be very mainstream. I'll be showing you some places that is very instagrammable yet very nice to be visited.

1. Old Souk

This is actually quite mainstream. If you want to buy traditional Abaya or the perfume, this is the place. It also sells some spices. The thing that I like about this place is the architecture. Once you're here, you'll feel like you're drifted to the old time. (Want to visit? click here for more info!)

2. Al Seef Village

This are is just developed recently by one of the biggest developer in Dubai, Meraas. It has A LOT of restaurants and cafes, or I can say... It consists of restaurants and cafes. How to get here? 15 minutes walking from Burjuman Exit 2. What I like about this place? It's a truly definition of Modern and Old Dubai. Also, not a lot people are here, so you can take as much photos as you wanted without any interruption! (Let's go to Agraba!)

3. Al Fahidi Historical Neighbourhood

Yet another old architecture in Dubai. If you are living in downtown you might feel bored with tall buildings sometimes. This is also one of the places that you can visit! Owh! Have you ever seen a post about Coffee Museum? Yup! It's here and it's free! There's also cultural center that you can visit in this are. (Smelling coffee?)

So these 3 places are basically free and great places for you to visit. Guess what? These places are actually next to each other! Yup, you can got to Al Seef, then walk 10 mins to Al Fahidi Historical Neighbourhood then end in the Old Souk (also work the other way round). You can also take 1dhs water taxi to get to the other side! I know right... 1dhs in Dubai!

Even though its famous for it's tall building, but it's great to find something out of this world in this diversecity (pun intended).

*Bonus! One of my favorite place in Dubai to enjoy sunset - JBR.
