One and Only Old Souk
You might have heard about Old Souk a lot. This is one of the destination which you might want visit in Dubai. What do they have here? EVERYTHING! This is one of the great spot for you to buy souvenirs. They sell everything from abaya, spices, perfume, bags, simply everything! The other thing that you might like is the architecture. It looks like the old traditional market.
*TIP: if you wanted to buy some souvenirs here, make sure to bargain and be calm if the seller try to reach you. Yes sometimes they are very eager to offer you some products. Just calm :)
The other thing that is good from this area is the location. It is by the Dubai Creek! You can enjoy the day after walking in the market and enjoy some shawarma.
You can also get to the other side of the area with this 1dhs boat (you'll all gonna feel the excitement like I did!). You can enjoy the ride while riding this boat. Don't worry to fall because it's safe! Really. From the other side of Old Souk, you can get to Baniyas Metro Station to get back to where you are.
You could also the Sindagha Historic Distric. It's the opposite of the Old Souk (from Metro Exit). You could find the historical museum, house of Sheikh Saeed Al Maktoum and the history of Pearl Diving in Dubai.
How to get to the Old Souk? 1. Taxi (obviously). 2. Metro - stop at Al Gubhaiba Metro Station. There are a lot of historical places that you can visit in Dubai. Not only museums that I'm talking about, but also historical and preserved places.
